Direct TV also offers channels in other languages such as Spanish. You can also choose from seven different adult channels.
If you are interested in high definition television (HDTV) then Direct TV is the provider for you. HDTV is a TV format that has a much higher resolution and detailed picture than the standard TV. Direct TV offers seventeen crystal clear HDTV channels.
When you subscribe with Direct TV you will also get a receiver that has a built in digital video recorder (DVR). A DVR allows you to record your favorite shows, even two at a time. You simply select the program you would like to record and view it whenever you want to. This is much more convenient than remembering to set your VHS recorder and have a tape ready. The DVR also allows you to pause, rewind, and stop live shows, and skip over commercials on recorded programs.
